Sorry that I didn't comment on 5-4. I have no words for "Lollipop", the "Crank That" of 2008. On the other hand, 4-2 is awesome upon awesome upon UBER-AWESOME.

-What is there to say? Sure the verses are a little weak, but gosh darn the rest of the song is so ****in good. When it truly kicks into amazing is about four and a half minutes in. If ever I could see them in concert I think that would be the point I would lose it. Metallica tops both the song and album charts this year, a feat never before done. What's even crazier is that I actually disliked them before the year started. I have no idea why. It makes little to no sense. On a side note: last years #1 Dragonforce put out a terrible CD this year. Shame on them. How can Dragonforce sound generic? That seems like it would take more work than making a good CD. Whatever.

Well that's it for this year. Now that this shenanigans is over with I'll be able to keep steady updates on all the rest of y'alls lists. Good times. Happy ... whatever today is!

Yep, that was the first song that came to mind, because I thought about the Metallica songs that had made the list already, which left me to wonder, "Wait, where's 'All Nightmare Long'?" Lo and behold.

That top 3 is officially more awesome than awesome sauce, and that's hard to pull off, trust me.
