the NA leg of PWT is 67 dates and the artrave is 79. artrave will probably end at 95mil and PWT NA at 88mil so i don't see why its shocking that its close when gaga only did 10 more dates than 1 leg of katys tour?

Lady Gaga is selling out a tour with her name alone ( her last hit was one year ago and she was without a proper management team until june + the ARTPOP era mess + media backlash )when will katy? that's all. an average of 1.2 by gaga vs. a 1.3 by katy ( and she has 2 monsters hit and an over exposed album ) the kats are acting like katy is selling 5.0 M average per show.

Stop the double standards which are contradicting yourself. Katy hasn't even hit 3.3M albums this time but that's not a decline from 6M when it almost certainly won't see much more than 3.5M in the long run? She had 2 number 1s this era compared to 5 number 1s last time, but that's not a decline? Based on decline logic, Katy peaked with TD sales-wise and thus far is doing her best tour-wise with the PRISM tour. She managed to outgross a tour that with 124 dates didn't manage $60 million - that says more about how terrible that tour was gross-wise than this one's increase in general.

Sure.. Tripling her previous tour, debuting with 557k sales (compared to CG's 294k and POM 411k), getting 2 massive #1 singles 6 years into her career is not an improvement in her star power. She's declining.

I misread what you said about not knowing when someone peaks or starts decaying, so I edited that part out - The **** has that to do with the PWT anyways? I said that you just can't know if the PWT was Katy's TOURING PEAK, because she hasn't declined TOURING WISE yet, and that she could mantain her albums/singles success with her next eras, I never stated that the album sales weren't a decline from the TD era, just that Katy's never had a flop era unlike Gaga.

And btw, PRISM did hit 3.3m.
