Sony's OS
LG's OS
Amazon's OS

...and the list goes on and on and on.

It really is a misnomer. Each of these different versions of Android is different that's in addition to each version having several different versions inside of that going on. Some versions of Touch Wiz use 4.4 others use 4.3, 3, 2, etc... you name it...
