I actually love Mike at his 'worst': sappy ballads, crushing lyrics, piano and his voice only -- maybe that's why Put Your Back N 2 It is one of my favorite albums -- but this record is incredible. Love the addition of noise, electronic elements and glam rock or whatever is. Contender for AOTY?

Love the tracks that aren't ballads but I really can't get behind the ballads :/

Just listened and while it's amazing, I thought for sure it was going to be my AOTY but it didn't wow me that much. Top 15 maybe.

I love how it was Cloud Nothings as AOTY in March for me, then Sharon Van Etten in May, FKA twigs in August and now my AOTY is this. I'm a mess.

"Fool" is very Bowie and "Longpig" has that The Knife spark. I need lyrics though.

Just listened to it for the first time. It's good but I feel like I still have to give it a few more listens.
