Lady Gaga felt "like a cow" when she was in hospital.
She's previously spoken about the tough times she went through last year when she suffered a hip injury and had to cancel many of the Born This Way Ball shows.
Now she's opened up about just how isolated she felt.
"I no longer saw any light. Anywhere," she candidly told German magazine Stern.
"The past few years have been really dark. I had to have an operation and 21 of my concerts were cancelled. Nobody from my team was there for me - not through my operation and not while I was recovering.
"I lay there in my hospital bed and felt like a cow. I'd been giving milk this whole time and now that I was ill and could no longer be milked, they said, 'Give us a call when the cow is better.'"
"I'm Teflon-Gaga now," she smiled. "I let everything just bounce off me."
"I lay there in my hospital bed and felt like a cow. I'd been giving milk this whole time and now that I was ill and could no longer be milked, they said, 'Give us a call when the cow is better.'"
Yawn at the pathetic comments and pictures that will be coming from pressedT fanbases still bitter about her 2009-2012 domination, BUT...
This is actually really sad, and it is so awful what she went to. It's hard to believe her team weren't there for her at that time - it must have been really dark. And to cancel all those shows - especially when they were all USA dates! So awful.
