Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, Halo, Gears of War, Panzer Dragoon, Fable, and thats not even half. If Microsoft does like they say they will this gen and use all of those, they'll be the best exclusive machine this generation.

All dead. Microsoft bought Rare and killed those franchises off because they did nothing with them.
Microsoft has a history of buying studios and then closing them because they can't get it together.

But games being made in-house is exactly what they need and this will restore faith.
I really wish them the best of luck and I hope they treat indie devs better.

Latest interview with Phil Spencer confirmed that Rare is working on two of those classic IP's now plus a new one. And indies love Microsoft now with the new ID@Xbox program granting them nearly free development for Xbox One, something both Sony and Nintendo don't do.
