It's not really a secret, but at red lobster, almost everything is frozen. The entree construction is quite messy, the servers are messy. I don't understand why the entrees are that expensive

You would NEVER know how much produce,perishables and Meat I would find in the damn center aisles.And then the same customers wanna complain about high prices.SMH.Then you have people who put FROZEN stuff in the DAIRY case,Produce and meat in the FROZEN case,etc.

I'm not gonna even DISCUSS the lack of home training found in the store's restrooms.Some of y'all should do better.

That is true.One customer got caught taking the manager special sticker OFF a gallon of milk and putting it on something else.A damn MESS.The worst stories I have heard were about people who visited the service desk.


OMG,The deli at my store LITERALLY got cleaned out because they saw employees eating food meant for customers,taking samples, and the like on the clock

After working here for about a year,I finally know why Cashiers HATE dealing with some WIC customers. Some of them will get over on you quick fast and in a hurry.I've LITERALLY seen customers get into it with cashiers over a damn box of cereal.And some of them have little nasty ass attitudes too.I get it,WIC ain't the most leinent program out there BUT I'll be damned if you're going to take your little snot nosed attitude to me.

And THEN there's those customers who bitch and moan about having the wrong prices too.

Those small double stack carts are the most USED and ABUSED.Sometimes, I'll make it a point to return those carts LAST, just because dealing with them can be a HASSLE.Same goes with the plastic carts.

Also,I'd double bag ANYTHING over 5 or 6 lbs at Kroger. Their plastic bags are F' ing HORRIBLE and THIN

I'm not a Walmart employee but apparently you can kick a difficult customer out for saying a bad word.

I'm a cashier and sometimes, it's really rare but when people are being assholes and REALLY rude I take my sweet time scanning their ****. If it would normally take me 5 minutes to scan it would take me 15 minutes. And I make sure to scan stuff twice or so, so that they pay more. Most people don't check their receipt which is great because it means more money for my company. But I always hope that they do notice because then I can take even more time returning stuff. (obviously I ask for another cashier to open up because I wouldn't punish people waiting in line).

and we also talk behind the backs of customers but only stupid/rude ones that treat us like ****. my favourite thing is when they say they want to talk to my supervisor and then my supervisor comes and we talk **** about that customer

this is so true. I used to deliver flyers DAYS late and I would recycle whole piles of magazines they like to sneak in because it was too damn heavy. They almost never notice and even if they do and call you, they are so desperate for workers that they wont fire anybody.

Little tip, if you find flyers annoying and never read them, then put a little sign on your mailbox asking for no flyers. I wish more people did this, honestly once a women was outside her house and I gave it to her personally, as I was walking away I looked back and literally watched her take it and throw it directly into the garbage

Under cover shoppers at Wal-mart spy on shop lifters ... and most are pretty damn good at it.

Radio is about 95% fake. Whenever a celebrity is there pretending to DJ or phone scams come on ... don't believe a second of it.

It pisses us off when you don't use the self-service checkouts. What is annoying is when customers are like "I want to be served by a human" and "These things will put you out of a job". Like no sir/ma'am. They make our jobs EASIER and I won't lose it so I'll worry about that thank you.

When you go to the till and there's items displayed at the till or the cashier is trying to sell you stuff (e.g. chocolate), it's because there's competition between staff and the other stores to see who can sell the most. So if they're there, please buy them.

There's nothing that bad or shocking where I work tbh. I guess it must just be in America where y'all are based that it's so bad. Here everything is done correctly.

I helped a friend once and we literally threw them ALL in some garbage container and he still got paid.

I work at a coffee restaurant and we have super ultra dish washers. Just chuck the dishes in and they are cleaned and dried in a matter of SECONDS. It blows my mind

Meanwhile my crappy dishwasher takes two damn hours to clean the dishes. Still better than hand washing tho

edit: well I just found this post and I don't work at that joint no more. It was depressing working there, I was paid absolutely minimum wage and had some real ****** coworkers. I hated coming into work. Never enjoyed it. And I copped a lot of **** from customers. Jokes on them because now I've a job that very well and is actually enjoyable and I DON'T have to deal with customers!

Oh and a friend of mine used to work at KFC and he always gave customers extra hot wings and sometimes an extra burger.
