Will any of the songs on 19KT9 be better than anything on Heartthrob, though?

I will say that there is a special place in my heart for Forever & Always and for Tell Me Why, despite the album's placement.

Taylor is just like my girl Fiona, tons better with each successive release (even though you can barely imagine them getting better)

Well it depends on what you prefer.

Overall consistency? Speak Now has that on Red
BEST songs? Red has the highest highs of any album even if there are a few less-than-holy songs in the mix too.

For me the inclusion of tracks like All Too Well, Holy Ground, Treacherous make Red the winner no matter what.

Red being her best album...

The only weakish song on Fearless is Change.

Red is more fun and less tedious to listen to, even though it contains more songs. The greater sonic variation makes it more attention holding. There's more energy to it. Even at its lowest point, it's still a great pop album.



I'd still say Speak Now is Her best written album overall, though. And possibly the one that means the most to me.

Whenever I think Red is her best I think of the songs All Too Well, Holy Ground, Sad Beautiful Tragic, Treacherous and Begin Again. But then I remember the FLAWLESS songs on Speak Now. Dear John, Last Kiss, Ours, Back To December, Haunted and Long Live

Yes that too. Every time I get to The Story of Us I'm like zZZZZzzzzz need to get to Never Grow Up asap.

Speak Now could really benefit from a different track listing. I realize I could just shuffle it, but I like to listen the way the artist intended when listening in full.

Like... Innocent, Haunted, Last Kiss are all great great songs. But that whole group drags on for an unnecessarily dramatic 15 minutes (even more so after Enchanted if you skip BTR like I tend to do). Red is so up and down in both tempo and genre, you never have that problem.
