Viet Cong is the band that features former members of a very underrated band Women whose 2010 album Public Strain is one of my favorite releases of that year. They are about to release their first album Viet Cong that is out January 20 via Jagjaguwar. Contrary to Women's art rock sound, Viet Cong is more of a post-punk band and the song they just released reminds me of Echo & the Bunnymen and Interpol.
