Do you hold the door, pull out seats, offer your jacket when its cold, carry heavy bags etc. for women/significant others?
Also before anyone starts b**tching about how feminists want equality yet want men to do all this stuff blah blah blah. Not saying its a requirement, I'm just curious if you were raised this way
1. Most people I know, male and female, would hold the door open for anyone who followed. Not just a man for a woman.
2. I don't pull out seats for anyone but myself, unless the person was elderly/needed assistance.
3. No.
4. I would ask anyone who was carrying heavy bags if they would like me to carry some, just out of politeness.
So I guess no because any of these things I mentioned wouldn't have anything to do with gender, it would just be a polite offering.
I am sometimes overtly because I'm mentally scarred from all the elder females throughout my life ripping me to shreds if they dont think im being helpful
I think it's wrong to only do those things for women because you're basically treating them like they're weak and helpless children who can't do anything right. So I do it for everyone.
