How can people be so perfect?

I had dinner with two girls today (I usually eat alone or with my roommate or with that annoying guy that thanks god I have been able to avoid for the past week until now) and one of them is just perfect. She is Indian American, speaks Gujarati and English and Spanish, is majoring in something science related but she says she loves organic chem and she got a 99 on that class. A 99 on organic chemistry. And she's doing organic chemistry 2. She is also taking anatomy, phisiology, music theory and piano and she has to memorize lots of piano songs that she plays and all the bones of the body, and she is gorgeous and very social, knows lots of people and wow. And she's nice to pretty much everyone.

Sometimes I wonder what went wrong when my parents raised me that I can't aspire to be that good. Like I do well in school but I have no social life, and I do very few extracurricular stuff. My resume is plain for an honors student. Perhaps my parents' decision to allow me to watch TV all Saturday as a kid instead of paying for violin lessons or something. But I guess they just never thought of that, my dad worked pretty much everyday other than Sunday.

One of my friends came out to me today

Afterwards he said "you know, when I first met you, I couldn't tell if you were happy or.." and I was like " Why? did I look grumpy?" and he said "no, not literally happy but, you know, happy. I would have asked you but I didn't want you to try and fight me or something." and I was just " You thought I, of all people, would pick a fight? Nah, I'm not happy, but I don't judge people who are- to each their own! "

It was so awkward though I've never had anyone question my sexuality before.

I wish someone came out to me so that I could come out to them. Wait....that already happened but I missed my chance.
