Well Rude Boy hit #1 in 2010 when Beyonce was done with IASF and the 2 top 10 hits aren't big at all, Russian Roulette was a hit but not as big as her other hits and Hard was local and the tour wasn't profitable.

And YES people, MTV and radios are always here for Rihanna but in 2009 they were more for Beyonce.

Ya I don't think she's afraid. It's the same tired shade that people give to people when they haven't released an album in a while. Like in 2013 when Beyoncé was "afraid to release", and then it turned out she was just planning pretty much the biggest release the world has ever seen.

Rihanna is not afraid, she's just doing her thing, though when it comes to week by week, I'm sure she's not going to want to release at the same time as Adele.

She always has much bigger single sales than Beyonce, so there's no need to avoid this one.

Why are we waiting for that last little critically acclaimed, publicly adored album to outsell Unapologetic? Who is waiting? Will it change anything in regards to what it was for music and how it made people feel/react/think? The only people who care about comparative sales are insecure stans who must go to numbers for comfort.
