People keep saying "You're 100x more likely to get HIV" etc, but HIV can't kill you in days time to panick
Huh? HIV has been infecting people for longer. I'm not sure what stats they are using to make this claim. Maybe because many people don't know they have HIV and are going around untreated. Its almost impossible to spread it if you are on HIV meds. Plus they have PREP now which blocks the receptors HIV uses to infect an individual and that's something that helps in addition to condoms.
The second healthcare worker who tested positive for Ebola last night flew by air Oct. 13th, the day before she reported symptoms, said the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in a release.
She flew on Frontier Airlines flight 1143 Cleveland to Dallas/Fort Worth. The CDC is asking all 132 passangers on the flight to call 1 800-CDC INFO (1 800-232-4636). Passengers will be monitored for symptoms and interviewed about the flight.
