Inb4 they make a vaccine and make millions of dollars from it. I do not believe this anymore. I supposedly had the swine flu and hospitalized for a week but by the grace of God I was okay after a week and they charged us almost $1000 for that ****. I feel like these outbreaks are a way for governments to make money.
Saw way too many people on the internet taking it lightly "There's no chance, so stupid. Infected are being isolated" etc etc. This is real worldwide plague ****
Is this actually something I should be legitimately worried about?
Yes tbh, the gurls on here are trying to downplay it as fear mongering from the media, but it seems quite serious. 70% death rate is VERY high and as of now there still isn't a cure. Guidelines on health regarding Ebola have even been put up on our government website.
Ebola doesn't spread through the air, it is spread through body fluids, meaning you could wear all kinds of masks but if you touch someone who is infected, you're in trouble
What is going to be gained by these sensationalist headlines? Excuse my ignorance if I am displaying any. Sorry but I know Ebola is life threatening...I really do. But some people already suffer from extreme anxiety. I think we should all be scared but not because the government is telling us "Ebola is winning". Wtf?
The disease is serious and we must take it seriously but until/unless we actually catch it why are so many shock tactics being used to make sure some of us cannot continue to live life with as little anxiety as possible?
The title could have been reduced to something far more tasteful.
There's been a woman in Norway with Ebola (at a hospital obviously) since Tuesday last week and I haven't heard of anyone else catching it yet so I should be safe
