This year I discovered CocoRosie and their unique sound. Their latest single, "God Has A Voice, She Speaks Through Me", led me to their awesome 2007 album
The Adventures Of Ghosthorse And Stillborn. I had heard of CocoRosie before, but their recent work is much better than their old stuff. Especially this new single, which has a very dreamlike, electronic quality. The new album should be out early next year, I'm looking forward to it.

Audio Day Dream is one of my favorite albums ever and this song, a typical ballad, is one of my favorite songs on it. I didn't want one artist to dominate the list, so I had to cut a whole bunch of album tracks, but this one remained. Blake is a very capable vocalist and this song just never gets old.

My #6 of 2005, #1 of 2006 and #1 of 2007 is my #8 of 2008. "Passion" is my favorite song of all time and I still love to listen to it. I still remember when I first heard it. It was a life changing experience. There is no song as good as "Passion" and I don't think there ever will be.
