This is the worst thing ever!

I've bought a pair of earphones almsot a year ago for ~8$ and they are still fine, it's a goddamn miracle.

I work at a gym and you'd be amazed at how many high-quality earphones get handed in. If they're noise cancelling ones, I clean them with alco-gel, and then replace the rubber nubbens (whatever they're called) with my own ones, because when you buy noise-cancelling earphones, they give you like 12 of those little rubber things in case your own pop off. If they're Beats by Dre, or actual headphones that go over your head, I give them a wipe down and then wear them.

I have to wait 30 days before I can take them from lost property. But over the past 3 years, I've got a lifetime supply of the best quality earphones. And some crap ones which I just give to my mum (which she keeps in a drawer).

I've gone through 20+ earbuds because of this just this year.

Have two pairs of Apple earphones with one ear working, they suck, another pair completely doesn't work, and I lost my Dr Dre Headphones

My crush broke it. I couldn't do anything and I couldn't mad about that It feels horrible tho

Fortunately it could repair by itself several days later so I didn't have to buy a new one (or got mad with my crush )

I hate when this happens. I used to buy really expensive headphones, but now I've settled for the cheap Skullcandy ones.

Yes, which is why I ended up just getting Beats.

I'm sorry but not y'all buying earphones less than 10 bucks and not y'all using Apple's stock buds.

Hate to break it to y'all but they suck. I, too thought the Apple Earbuds were the greatest earphones EVER until I tried something better. Never looked back.

My earbuds from my iPhone 5 from 2 years ago is still here and sealed. I'm planning on selling it because I know people will buy it.

My pair right now is $40. I bough a $100++ one before but it was flimsy as **** although sound was GREAT but seriously, I couldn't afford getting repaired every month so I settled for the cheaper one.

It happens to me every time. Ironically though, with so much wear with my current one, it's already 5 months old and still strong. Mine usually breaks in 3 months. This **** has warranty for a year so yearly I buy a new one.

I listen to music loud, so this happens to me a lot. I have an amazing, resilient pair of headphones right now, though. Buy BOSE headphones.

Ugh so annoying. I just replace them with the cheap Apple look a like ones on Amazon the ones I have now have lasted the longest but I think they're starting to go, if I move the thing (idk what it's called) it goes all weird and activates Siri or makes the song skip

This doesn't happen often. I'm always hoarding headphones.

I always get this. That's why I never use my expensive earphones and just rely on buying multiple cheap ones throughout the year. I'm actually listening to music right now through one earphone as I threw them the other day and broke them.

This used to happen to me. I always had to twist the wire a bit to get the other side to work again.

Oh my god it's mad depressing.
Or when the sound keeps going in and out of one ear.
Can't imagine anything worse.

I didn't say I had Apple stock buds. I don't even own apple products.
