They went in. But Jessie deserves to be dragged. She's that girl who went from releasing songs like Price Tag to releasing songs like Bang Bang, not that the latter is bad, it's catchy, but other than that, it's meaningless. I'm pretty sure she could write a substantial album by herself if she wanted to.

You may be right but than again there have been albums like that since popular music was invented/has imerged.

Kinda agree though. I mean during her debut era her whole thing was "be yourself!! I'm a true artist!! I write all my songs myself and I wouldn't sing anything I wouldn't believe in!!" whereas this album is basically a collection of songs snatched from demo pools designed to help her appeal to a wider audience (which won't even ever happen if she keeps insisting on over-singing every song she records

). And it probably wasn't even worth it because ultimately she's thrown her entire identity in the garbage. What separates her from her contemporaries now? Literally nothing.

Like she's undeniably a talented singer but everything she does is just so basic.

Jessie J is very talented, but Bang Bang seeps of desperation. If you wanna make a come-back to U.S. radio..do it on your own.

I haven't listened yet (I don't plan on doing so either), but it's not like Jessie J has any artistic merit so this is not really surprising. It's most probably justified.

The new album is ok, nothing groundbreaking but it is miles better than the last one which was tragic.

It still irks me that people give greater acclaim to artists who have less than 1/8 of Jessie's vocal talent and then call Jessie's voice too much or desperate... The most gifted singers are always underrated af and it's not fair
