That's the problem with this album. Good headphones, normal headphones, none of these songs are 'minimal' production, all these beats are straight up fire and perfection. When I listen to Lemonade or Sucka For Love, I get BANGING sound in my headphones cause they are HQ mastered.
'Mastered for iTunes' - or even a mastered copy - has a bit rate of 328 kbps (I believe), both ROL & Tell Me are 256kbps in iTunes quality, which is not a HQ version and has nothing to do with the production quality, just the mastering quality. These songs aren't finished, and you can tell by the quality that The Stereotypes must have just thrown the release together last minute when all 3 members gave them the green light. During the period they were broken up, I don't think The Stereotypes were working on completing the album because they didn't even know if it would come out.
I'm starting to wonder if they just decided to finish the album at the last minute, "mastered" and mixed these songs, and threw them out there to get some sort of return on their investment. .
Love my DK3, but if the physical copy of this album isn't in HQ to where I can fully enjoy the songs, I would have preferred to not have the album at all and moved on instead of getting some half assed "for the fans" album.
