MTV News used to be the best thing about MTV, and sadly, even a declining MTV News is the only saving grace of this network. Their news department has been a joke ever since SuChin Pak left and Kurt Loder getting zero air time. This is all Norris' fault that MTV News is declining.
MTV2 has lost its ways ever since they needlessly changed the logo about 4 years ago.
MTV may as well either put videos on, change it to RTV, or shut the station down.
And remember, I was an MTV junkie until this reality nonsense ****ed up the network, and Fuse/VH1 Classic/CMT is going down the shitter, too.
I loved MTV, but Pak's departure from MTV News and not firing John "Queer" Norris was the last straw.
VH1; however, is still playing music... for now. But I am NOT happy about them losing one hour of Nocturnal State. VH1, go back to 2-Hour Nocturnal State! Thank God VH1 hardly plays rap/hip-hop and more AC/Hot AC/Rock/Pop is played, and VH1 better NOT be playing rap.
Fuse needs to quit playing rappers (especially Lil' Wayne) and Britney (heaven forbid Jonas on Fuse), and go back to rock-only or 80%+ rock.
The real reason why music channels are declining: corrupt managers/bosses (esp. African-Americans + Republican Party staff at those networks hijacking the music tastes toward rap.) and reality TV shifts.
