Albums where the lead singles peak there from major artists and have no no better peaking singles after to pick up, labels pull the plug on their project. It seems like they want more, and they even scrap artist's work that would be like #38 for top ten sounding songs.

A lot of the BIGGEST names of the pop world have struggled to get a #38 peak, only in the last 5 years: Britney Spears (Break the ice, Radar, Criminal, Oh La La, Perfume), Beyoncé (Party, Countdown, XO, Pretty Hurts), Lady Gaga (G.U.Y.), P!nk (I don't believe you, Funhouse, True Love), Madonna (Give it 2 me, Miles away, Celebration, Girl gone wild, Turn up the radio) and Rihanna (Rockstar 101 and Right Now).
And those are the biggest popstars, now imagine how hard it is for the rest of the artists.
