yeah, but i dont want just songs the same as the last album. wouldnt it be better if they broadened their sound and experimented a little?

True, but I feel I'd go off them. I think it's better for an artist to broaden their music to reach out to different fans and stuff, but then other people are gonna go off them. I want them still to have that Rock/Pop style, I don't want them to go fully rock. I like knowing them as The Hootie & The Blowfish of the 21st Century.
Well I hope he'll bring some rock-ballads in his album. Like David Cook's Avalanche and Permanent. I love those kind of songs! Or some emotional rock songs (kind of like Secondhand Serenade).

i just dont want to see them stuck in the rut i find some other deplorable "rock" bands are in.
Happy new year everyone! Yes, I still have the beard. This is what I look like when I actually get a REAL break (longer than a week) after 2 years on the road. Why bother shaving. I know it's not the most attractive look... but I think I'm gonna keep it....forever. Well....maybe not.
Anywho..it's already shaping up to be a great year for Daughtry. I've recently heard some of the completed ruff mixes for our upcoming, not yet titled, yet to be finished, album with no realease date....and they sound AMAZING!!!! I'm so proud of what I've heard so far and can't wait to share it with the masses. That's it for now. God bless and may you all have the best year ever in '09!-CD
