I've never been there but I've heard that you could go to a different restaraunt in New York every night and it would take you 70 years to go to all of them. Its definitely a very diverse and interesting place.
Yea I hate Manhattan, I loathe going there for school and work but if you want to see real diversity you should visit Queens. Honestly there's a different culture on every single block, and the food :johnny:

The only thing I don't like about it is that the housing is so expensive for what it is (which is obviously the case with all major world class cities) but seriously some of the housing is just plain trash. I've seen people pay 4-5k/month for ugly, dungeon-esque closets. lol. That's one aspect where I'd choose LA as you can get a really nice, upscale type place for that amount of money. And in a cool neighborhood, too.
Yes I've been to NYC multiple times and I'm always amazed of many characteristics that it has. The infrastructures, the people, the history, everything is so fascinating. And it's the same in huge cities, like EOMM92 said.
