when people refer to someone being Asian it's usually East Asians. Idk if that would count as oriental
for example someone who is Iraqian wouldn't be considered Asian, but Middle Eastern
edit: but this is totally off topic. Anyways yeah America isn't that advanced yet to have an Asian rule unless he/she is spectacular in every aspect
