Since gay marriage is slowly yet rapidly getting legalized across the US, Obama spoke up about the gays in a CNN interview today:
Quote:
"I am the president of the United States. A bit trampled and busted, but America is home. It's our home. Those who attacked the gays are relentless and crazy. But those who tried to stop them, even more so! The gays may be small in numbers, but they stand for something bigger than anything the world can pit against them. They are the voice of peace, and bit by bit, they will change this world. You see, America has something Russia doesn't. Oh, sure, they have armies, and they have nuclear weapons, but we have our gays!"
