I think she is one unintentionally, she always had an image of independence and power that is inspiring for women.

She's not like the more recent girls who spend a bunch time calling themselves feminists just to immediately contradict themselves(like a few people on that list).

This is what I don't like about a lot of modern feminism, it's so disrespectful towards women and their choices.

Madonna chooses not to identify as a feminist and I am sure she has her reasons. These other girls choose to identify as feminists and seeing as anyone who is in favor of gender equality can be a feminist these days I don't see how you can say they aren't.
The term feminist means different things to different people. Some people see the more extreme elements of feminism and decide to opt out of identifying as one. Others use the term to champion their own ideas and opinions about gender equality.

So no Madonna is not a feminist until she decides that she is.

Women who shave eyebrows are definitely doing this to fit in and to make THEMSELVES their own celebrity. A lot of women do these type of things for themselves not for the opposite sex.

A woman with hairy armpits is not offensive in any way but don't go down the street and scream sexist to men who doesn't want to ask you out.

I feel Madonna's liberation statement but you wont see women with hairy armpits going down the street anytime soon. It's not only men who doesn't like women with hairy armpits, women themselves doesn't like them either.

I understand the message and agree with it but preferring women with nice white armpits isn't sexist. It's a preference. If you find a man who likes that, good for you but majority of them wouldn't want that and that's a fact.
