I think that he's talking about the waiting period be longer now than between 19 and 21. And 4 years aren't 3 years. If the wait is longer than 4 years, yes, could damage the album's sales.

The only thing that'll hurt her is underwhelming music. 4 years is nothing with the credentials she's coming off of. And it's really only been a couple years since the era ended. She'd be harmed more by saturation.

This will just make the demand greater once GP gets knowledge of new music.

Yes. Sade is one of the few exceptions. This new album has to be timeless and please the listeners of various music genres as 21 had pleased.

Im pretty sure that her and her label knows better when to release an album. If there is a reason, why not release it this year, they better postpone it than rush it.
