Video Games: Would you be here for a transgendered character in a game?

This theory gave me some thought and the evidence presented seems plausible.
But I worry how the GP would take such an idea and while Poison from SF is trans most don't know that unless you're a hardcore stan.

Capcom also kind of chickened out on sticking to the original concept of her being trans.

If you would be here for it how would you want them written and presented?
If not why are you against it?

If they were transgendered to fit some equality quota, to make a social statement, or to be a parody, no.

If the character is transgendered, but it's not the whole focus of the character, yes.

In the theory analysis video the claims are Chico is a woman because of a truama in his life when he was younger as a male. And Quiet is mute due to betraying her comrades and vows to be in the battlefield for the greater good.

Kojima says she's a protagonist with a deep background story.
I hope it's done well if this theory is true.
