Beyonce released an album last year that was covered by the media a lot. She released a lot of singles. And went on a lot of tours. Why is Billboard ignoring her success in favor of Taylor who only has one song out?

Because Taylor is.

She is just not big enough in US (compared to Taylor).

Because she isn't. She sure has been named a lot of other things better than Female of the Year (look to signature) before.

Stop being so bitter and affected. It's not cute.

Trying too hard. Her other honors given by Bilboard make this lie even more desperate and stale.

Because she sure as hell does not fit the criteria of "Billboard Woman of the Year" and even the hive know that. No one ever expected her to be.

Having said that, it shouldn't really be Taylor based on Shake It Off. Ariana deserved it.

They are drunk '.' Taylor is the most successful one in the USA obvi, but from November 2013 to November 2014 there is only one women of the year - Beyonce. Even Lady Gaga has been more relevant and successful the past 12 months than Tay Let alone that you also have Katy and Lorde.

Because she doesn't deserve it. She only had a moderate hit and a bunch of flop songs and an album that sold well for a few weeks but did nothing afterwards and didn't do that well in other markets. Taylor on the other hand debuted atop the charts and I'm pretty confident her album will do well and sell up to a third of what Beyoncé's album has sold thus far its first week.

Even Ariana & Iggy were more deserving.
I'd have been fine with Taylor being the 2015 Woman of the Year but what has she done this year except release 1 single?

Don't worry she will snatch the decade title a second time.

And Taylor is a monster in the US. Bey and Katy are really the only ones that can compete with her.

She's not a woman, she's not even human. I thought everyone knew this.

Billboard only consists of the USA and the album has sold over a million copies in the US this year alone so that isn't true

I do think Taylor deserves it though

But Bey has the best selling female album of the year. And that's a fact not an opinion.
