Ok, I don't think Katy is good enough for the Superbowl either, but in what world would Rihanna have been better? They are both equally bad performers.
The NFL, after a year of scandal, is attempting to recover it's image by selecting a generic popstar with no chance at being risqué, creative, or controversial. I'm sure the show will be visually spectacular but sonically lacking, but that's all Katy has ever had to offer in her career.
