It's confirmed. She paid to perform but gets more time. Instead of the normal 12-15 minutes artists get to perform, Katy gets 20 minutes.

The amount paid by Katy (or her company) is an undisclosed amount that will not be released to protect the interest in the NFL and the Super Bowl half-time.
