I enjoyed it, but I don't feel they set up any mystery or really achieved any suspense. It was more character driven drama, which is fine but not what I expected.
Twisty is freaky, but he's a bit one dimensional and I don't really care (yet). He's just on the sidelines. Presumably he's a disgruntled ex-Carny who's going to continue killing everybody? They didn't tease anything intriguing about him, and I don't feel there's any ambiguity of who he is (in a twist "oh it was ____ all along" reveal) considering 99% of the characters being all shapes and sizes, wouldn't fit his build.
Curious as to where they're going to take it, because as of now the only obvious arc is Elsa making the show a success...and that's not really intriguing.
MTE.
I think this is why I'm not feeling the season yet, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Just watched the first episode. Loved it.
Love Sarah, Even tho Jessica is always the queen of the season.. Sarah turns out to be more relevant.
Its like Gaga and Madonna... Sarah as gaga
I think my problem with Sarah's character is it's not real enough. I know Siamese twins are real, but the character isn't styled as that at all. The character is portrayed as a woman with two heads. When you compare that to the other characters, Evan's hands, a trans character, Jessica having no legs, Jyoti being tiny, Kathy having a beard and the guy who's arms are deformed, they're all real things. Real problems people actually experience and believable characters. Siamese twins experience these same problems, I know, but the character is being depicted as a two headed woman, and that's something completely different. Just takes away from their storyline, to be honest.

Conjoined twins and Siamese twins are different things. Conjoined twins is a larger term; Siamese twins refers to the kind stuck together with two different bodies. Bette & Dot are just conjoined twins. People like Bette & Dot, two heads with one main body, do exist; these are known as dicephalic parapagus twins. Look up Abby & Brittany Hensel, who are the most well-known example of this. It's not something made up.

I never knew that was the case actually, thanks for clearing that up for me.
Getting my life to "Life on Mars?" and "The Name Game".
I hope they release all of this season's songs on iTunes. (Though I will have a serious internal debate about whether to buy Queen Jessica's Lana cover.)
I cackled at "ExCUSE me! CLO-own! Do you do parties? For children?" and ha waving out the window while still sort of driving. Or how she actually approached that clown when he looks like the living dead.
It was all obviously Horror Movie clues, we're getting a Slasher season girls.
- Mr. Haddonfield the Landlord = Haddonfield, IL/ The fictional town in the Halloween franchise.
- References Alfred Hitchcock in the Diner
- When Jimmy is talking to Elsa, there's a man behind him dressed like Freddy Krueger.
- Bette mentions the man who supposedly murdered their mother was wearing a fedora. Freddy Krueger wore a fedora like hat.
I'm sure there are a few more if I rewatch it for a 4th time, but there are also clues in Episode 2, so I'll be on the lookout.
