I just realized Katy & Rih could both easily do a Greatest Hits already (well, maybe Katy would have to wait another era). I remember when Gaga used to score hits.
Greatest Hits albums aren't as lucrative as they used to be, with the exception of P!nk's, which did really well and opened up a successful era after that.
I'm not here for this thing coming in just in time to avoid Taylord's slayage.
Quote:
iTunes is not counting tracks for their charts anymore when somebody pre ordered the album and gets the track as part of the album before the album release
It is also said that those tracks won't be reported to Nielsen either (however I'd wait for an official statement by them first).
However, if someone buys the track without having the album ordered, it does count.
So, Taylor's new track tomorrow won't rush the charts because of her zillions of album pre orders. However, it can reach buy the power of non-fans that just buy the track, though.
