Of course. Prism was just a much more successful era overally and felt a lot bigger the minute Roar obliterated the charts and took over the radio waves.

Roar & DH have nothing on Stay or Diamonds outside of sales/views, which I wasn't debating. Stay devoured the chart based on two performances that were 3 months apart from one another, and one of those performances was before Stay was even released. The number of artists that have covered and praised "Stay" shows more impact than anything from Prism. And "Diamonds" is simply a far better quality song than Dark Horse or Roar. DH & Roar are both fun and slayed the charts but let's not act like they'll stand the test of time.

Roar and Dark Horse have the numbers but they will not last through time the way Diamonds and Stay will. Even less successful songs like Pour It Up are more remembered than half of the Prism era. The Prism era is so flat outside of the two big hits.

Not lasting through time? Dark Horse has been on the Hot 100 for more than a year. I don't think Diamonds or Stay accomplished that, and according to you they will last through time haha.
