Lupe Fiasco - Paris, Tokyo
"Paris, Tokyo" was the fourth single released off of Lupe's sophomore album, The Cool. This was one of my favorite songs that made the album, and I was glad this song was given the single treatment. The song itself featured clever rhymes and relaxing production. Can't wait for LupEND!

The Game feat. Lil Wayne - My Life
"My Life" was probably the first "hit single" off of LAX.(because "Game's Pain" and "Dope Boys" failed to catch on.) This was the first Lil' Wayne feature that he didn't drop a verse on, and that probably was for the best. The song peaked at #02 on my countdown.

"Magic" was a great lead single for Robin Thicke's third album, "Something Else". Excuse me while I attempt to make time to listen to it...

T.I. - Whatever You Like
After "No Matter What" failed to take off on radio, "Whatever You Like" was released. The song featured T.I. singing (Ja Rule stylez!!!!!) but it was catchy enough to shoot #1, straight to #1 ion my countdown and the Hot 100.

Solange - I Decided (Part II)
Solange wanted to share her "Hadley Street Dream" with us, and she decided to release "I Decided" as the lead single. This song was fun and was a total deviation from the Pop/R&B that was on her first album, and shot to #1 on my countdown. Sadly...I still haven't listened to her album.

Rihanna - Take A Bow
I'm not the biggest Rihanna fan (not one by any means), but "Take A Bow" was amazing, and is Rihanna's only song to chart this year (seeing how "Disturbia" was atrocious). Stargate recycled another single yes, but it was done well enough to keep me from having any complaints.

Ashanti - The Way I Love You
"The Way I Love You" was probably one of my favorite singles Ashanti has ever released (it will never be as great as "Only U" though). The dramatic video was amazing, and Ashanti's "yelling/singing" was pretty tolerable. The song spent 9 days at #1 on my countdown.

An amazing song from an amazing album...enough of stroking Kanye's ego. HEre's my REAL question:

Young Jeezy feat. Kanye West- Put On
So...the second verse of "Put On" probably provided Jeezy with the best verse he will drop in his career. That being said, "Put On" was an amazing lead single from his latest album, The Recession. This street anthem was improved with Kanye's feature (with the damn vocoder), and peaked at #04 on my countdown.

Lil' Wayne - A Milli
Lil Wayne came HARD with dropping "A Milli". I don't even need to speak any further. I WILL say that Wayne dropped the ball with that mediocre ass video.
