I think with a name like "Life Would Suck (Without You)", it sounds terrible! I'm hoping Ciara's tune is amazing. I really couldn't care if she's big again or not, I still love her music.

I've heard from my friend, Megan, that it's really good. I know that she loves Kelly Clarkson and her uncle is a guitarist for her, so it is, in a way, a biased opinion. Knowing Megan and her taste in music, she knows what she's talking about though.
I have alot to say but i'll shorten it...I love both ladies and Tierra wasn't pitting them against eachother to begin with. Kelly doesn't have to step out the box, she just has to be Kelly. It's why America chose her, it's why she's made the fans she has. With Ciara it get's interesting becauses she's my favorite artist. I think that the label rushed go girl just to put something out. There was alot of confusion, and tracks we're leaked and Barry told his Urban development at Zomba to just put it out and also since T-Pain was about to put out an album it would help him too. But with this going to Rhythmic, with an adds date a month before and I honestly don't think it will leak. I think they want a radio debut a 6 in the morning..I think they want radio website promotion the week of release like Britney & Ciara. I think that her label got some brains and is playing it smart because now they can put all the promotion toward her...There is no Britney,Pink,David A,T-Pain for them to spend on. People love to see Ciara PERFORM..She didn't have not 1 tv performance of Go Girl..NOT ONE.I think people get so caught up and heresay, and forget what Ciara has accomplished in a short period of time. Not to mention from an album perspective, there will most likely be alot of single choices to keep the ball rolling. There is no way she could go in with all those great producer/writers and get people like Chris & Justin on the album and it not do well. She will probably get more features on records like she had with her 1st album. Everything she touched went Top 10. She just needs mainstream to get back into her, because even if the song was left field from Urban...Urban would still play it because it's Ciara. Never, Ever comes out 1/19, we need a video within 10 days and itunes alongside. Digital sales have to pick up with this era and stay consistent. With Ciara's music it will never be an IF it will happen, it's just a matter of WHEN and I thnk with the changes made it comes 1/19/2009!
Now-a-days, her stans LONG for her to go back to "Since You Been Gone" success and/or music as well as the casual fans.
This is personally one "stan"/major fan who wants her to stay the course from My December. As long as it's not "Don't Waste Your Time." It could be "One Minute"!
Kelly Clarkson is an international superstar while Ciara is a local star...... anything Kelly does will overshadow Ciara period. Comparing the two is a joke anyways.
I think if Kelly play her cards right then she can comeback huge, nobody is doing vocal pop besides Leona. Most people don't recognize P!nk for her vocals and looking at how slow Sober is taking off, she isn't really a threat. Beyonce's Halo could and should do damage so Kelly would have to watch out for that. I don't see 2 big love songs doing well though. I really want her to be big again, especially if Christina is serious with that techno crap. I need a powerhouse pop diva on the scene who isn't Leona.
Ciara has alot of competition, for her sake, I hope the song is an uptempo since there isn't any big urban bangers out except lame gay ass Single Ladies. I don't see Diva being huge since its a A Milli remix and that song is played out at the moment. If the song is another Promise (which by the producers it seems more like) she is going to have a hard time and most likely flop. This is the first cd which I'm actually interested in from Ciara. I want her to do well so I can see how the rest of her videos, performances and eventual tour will look like.
