I've just worked out what is happening here. Taylor won't be on Alan Carr Chatty Man, despite reports elsewhere.
Alan Carr has a show called Alan Carr Chatty Man which airs on Fridays. This week he will have Ariana Grande on, not Taylor. This is confirmed. Taylor will be on Graham Norton Show this Friday which is a competing show on a different channel. They both air at the same time or at least somewhat overlap so Taylor is not going to do both shows on the same week.
Taylor has already been announced to be on a comedy sketch for Stand Up to Cancer. This is a one-off/annual show for Charity that will raise money to fight cancer. The show will air on Fri Oct 17 and Alan Carr will be one of the hosts of this, instead of doing his normal weekly show. So Stand Up to Cancer will replace Alan Carr Chatty Man and other shows on that TV Channel that night.
So Taylor will not be on Alan Carr Chatty Man. Taylor is filming her sketch for Stand Up to Cancer tonight. It is with Jamie Oliver, a TV Chef, who has confirmed he is filming with Taylor tonight. This sketch will be aired as part of Stand Up To Cancer telethon on Fri Oct 17.

Sounds like the sketch will maybe involved dancing and baking.

Taylor will be on during that time slot. Note it won't be for the whole 30 mins though, it is just the headlining sketch for that time segment. Bradley Cooper is doing something too.
