And they're spending $3 mil on one singer?

Since when average wage of a country determine how much they could spend to invite a singer? If that's the case, promoters from developing countries would never invite popular US acts. Not to mention this is a music festival with many sponsors. They dared to pay Bruno that much because they knew they'd still get high profit.
A member in first page who was there said Bruno gave a great show , performed for 2 hours and was the main attraction. Singers usually just performed for less than an hour in festival. That's more like Bruno's concert. So it was worth every penny.
