A million dollar music video? The budget won't be that high on a sixth single. Especially in an era that has had two under performing singles back to back. The era is on life support due to it's diminishing single and album sales, and it would be in her favor to quit it and work on new music.

Ahh well were happy with this era, its rare for an artist to get 2 monster hits in one era and album sales over 3M in this awful climate.

Two underperforming singles show nothing. All of them entered the top25, Katy is the only artist with all of her singles to have entered the top30. She had two monster hits and one hit, album sales are great, not many albums sell more than 3M copies worldwide nowadays. She has sold 14,5M records this era, only in the US. She needs to release one more single and make a perfect video for it, so streaming can do well.

The single would need to sell over 4 million copies (not including any impact on album sales) to recover the cost of a 1 million dollar video, it's not gonna happen.

Meh, I lost all interest in Legendary Lovers when I realised it'd just be a big gimmick-filled Bollywood rip-off video, I just want a normal, fun, pop video for Walking on Air now. No over the top gimmicks or themes, just her falling on love. Since it'll be the winter single her "Walking on Air" should be ice skating. Preferably with a body double for the Ice dancing routines.

Still think the album artwork photoshoot would've been the perfect time to record the video for Legendary Lovers or Double Rainbow.

In my opinion, just end the era and focus on the tour. If she's releasing a sixth single, pick Walking On Air because some stations want to play it, it's one of the fans favorites and it's closer to a gold certification.
