Everyone thought SATC2 was terrible. I was like "meh, it was ok." I mean it's rom-com fluff. People were acting like they were expecting Schindler's List. Although the scene with the Muslim women secretly loving fashion was a bit much, I was like "oh dear god."
Part of me is glad though. It should end as a trilogy. Ending on 2 movies (and ending on the 2nd one at that, is a bad move) especially considering the actual TV finale was one of the few TV finales that managed to end on an amazing note.
As much as I want this to happen, that's hardly confirmation. It's just vague tweets fueling the fires of speculation after JHud initially mentioned something about it (when she wasn't even in the 2nd one...).
