PicClick decided to review rapper’s lyrics to determine which brand gets the most mentions in Hip Hop. The result? Gucci was named the most talked about fashion brand in rap music, and the top three artists to rap about Gucci were determined to be Nas, Jay Z, and Lil Wayne.
Right behind Gucci came Nike, Prada, Versace, Chanel, and Armani. Lil Kim was crowned the top “brand dropping artist.” The rest of the top ten included Nas, Jay, The Game, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, The Notorious B.I.G., Foxy Brown, Gucci Mane, and Cam’Ron.
