Africa like most of Asia, and other countries outside of Europe and North America are poor due to the history of European colonisim. Basically Europeans came in, took the wealth and did not allow the country to progress on its own. Africa is going through a brain drain, where its best immigrate to another country instead of staying home and helping. Africa is naturally wealthy, but lacks infrastructure to develop those resources.

Europe is wealthy because they stole from the world.

And Belgium (who were the most evil colonizers), England, Germany, France, Denmark, etc. practically all of Europe destroyed Africa and the world. Half the crap we face today is because of European policies half a century ago.

Ethiopia was never colonised. It ain't doing so great either. Actually worse than a lot of other African countries.

Oh please you actually believe that? Italy had a heavy hand in its economy. They were not policitally colonized, but we're in almost every other aspect. Liberia was an American puppet. In actually all of Africa was colonized.

Italy considers Ethiopia one of its colonies anyway.

LOL seems like you are the one who needs to open a textbook. These places had been poor even before colonisation. And Germany only colonized some small parts of Africa for a short time.

Japan is what it is today only because it heavily copied the economical and governmental system of Europe + later was influenced heavily by the US too.

German economy was at 0 after WW1 and WW2 but they've still become the biggest economic force in Europe/World. Besides, Germany never had a big colonial empire.

And lmao at your last statement. Norway, Luxembourg, Switzerland and many other European countries never had colonies in Africa (or anywere alse) and they're in Top 10 richest countries in the world (GDP per capita).

Much of Africa has always been an economic backwater, lets not blame Europeans for everything.
