Discussion: Why is nudity shocking ?

Fear or horror of nudity is obviously an extraordinary perversion. How could an animal have been brought to the point of responding with revulsion towards the bodies of members of its own species?

some people don't look good naked...actually I mean A WHOLE LOT of people, but I'm going to leave it at some before the 'shame' crew comes in.

We were bought into this earth naked and nudity is a beautiful thing no matter who you are

Cause we were raised that way. And its part of being human to be embarrassed if people see you nude. But times are changing and we see people getting more use to nudity.

Anyways, celebs are supposed to be role models for normal people which makes it shocking. Although, recently it's not really that shocking since everyone is doing it now.

Funny right? When it comes to sex, people don't mind seeing naked bodies but anything outside of it is "unpure and disgusting".

Clothing separates us from being just another species of hominin… we get rid of that, and some consider it a recession back to barbaric ages…

Truthfully, woman nudity doesn't shock me (go fig…) but seeing a naked man just instills a major shock factor, personally…

Because, in this society if you are naked, you are "sexual" and sexuality isnt something that kids should see. Many people guard nudity and sexuality up as if it is a bad thing which is why were seeing kids becoming more sexual because theyre parents are not open about it and they become curious.
