We delete posts when we want to keep HQ clean; we warn posts when we feel like the post deserves a warning. If a post needs deletion and a warning for those reasons, then so be it.

warning and deleting posts are in no way mutually exclusive and there is no reason for them to be.

When has ATRL become this strict anyways? It's like after that free vacation atrl-o-matic gave me it's like the navy in this forum now.

Welp, closing this again then considering my warning got completely ignored - twice.


Just to explain why: this is not OTT, this is because people like to flock to these threads when they realize no moderator is online and it makes ATRL a complete mess during this time until a moderator comes on who has to put in more than an hour of his time to fix it all. When we ask to not talk about this in HQ to stop this from happening more regularly, we'd appreciate it if you don't.

Can we have a thread for this then? So not random thoughts, which is too broad. But something more niche, like "ATRL Community" or "Discuss ATRL" where we can just come in and talk to each other about the politics (for lack of a better word) of the site, without having an expectation to get feedback from mods?

I can understand it being a pain for you guys to log in and have to spend an hour of your free time working on a pop music forum, but everyone seems to enjoy what the old ATRL HQ was for.

When I said "these threads" I was referring to the threads that were such a mess, not HQ. I see where the confusion came from; I wrote it a little ambiguously.
