I think society has been becoming less accepting of things in the past few months tbh. Islamophobia is on the rise again, homophobia might be on the decline but it's still a big issue, especially in other countries, racism is still an issue too, the police situation in the US is a perfect example of this, and a lot of males are the moment think it's good and correct to be sexist.
One of my friends the other day said he wanted to just completely wipe out the entire middle east. Definitely not an accepting society we live in, where there are people living amongst us who think it's okay to kill millions of innocent people for no reason (other than their race/religion/where they live). People need to be educated about the world more.
Um, this thread is EXTREMELY triggering. I am a potatokin (désirhe/désirhim pronouns please) and am self diagnosed with depression/anxiety and all your negative posts are TRIGGERING a PANIC attack.
This IS a real thing and you are ALL being VERY rude and ignorant towards people with this. You're all as bad as TRUSCUM.
Also, please don't quote me because that will TRIGGER me more. You have NO right to violate my words by using them in your post without consent.
The world hasn't even accepted homosexuality.
So no, we're not accepting, at all.
Anyway, the reason people don't make a thing about asexuality or dat otherkin thing is cause they don't take it seriously.
If someone would say they are people would just be like 'uhm okay, whatever'.
And frankly, the majority of the world don't accept anyone different, so if there is one group of people who accept everyone, or are 'too accepting', then that really isn't a bad thing.
