I was just wondering if anyone is a haemophobic (has a fear of blood), Mine is pretty bad, as whenever I see my own blood, I end up fainting, in 2012 I had went up to my aunt's house for a local fair, at the end of the day, we had gotten pellet guns, I tried to pull my loader that you put the pellets into and when I couldn't do it, I felt a ripping pain on my finger, I had cut myself, I rushed into the house and sure enough I passed out while my uncle was carrying me to bed, and most recently I cut my lip while shaving and near felt like I was gonna faint, but luckily I didn't.

Can you share your stories if you are a haemophobic, thanks.

YES! I accidentally scratched my thumb and I almost passed out from the sight of blood! Another thing I hate is the taste, whenever I taste it from my gum or a tooth or something I panic

I'm kind of weird with blood With other people's blood I'm fine but if its my own its different. If I just get a cut or something than I have no problem with it, but when I go to get blood work I can't look at the needle in my arm and I can't look at the blood flowing out of it. Whenever I get it done I get really light-headed and I have to lay down on a bed because the first time I got it done I almost fainted

Also if I see blood on the ground or something than I'm fine with it, but I can't think about it flowing inside of my body. Just typing this is making me feel sick A few days ago I was in psychology class and we were talking about blood flow in the brain and I got so light-headed I had to put my head down on the desk because I thought I was gonna faint. After a while I started sweating and I had to ask to leave the room because I thought I was gonna be sick

Oh and after class I talked to my friend and she said that during class she looked over at me and she said that my face turned so pale that my skin looked blue

I can deal with my blood, but if its on TV I freak out or if a person starts talking about it but in person I am fine with it. Pretty weird.

God, this is exactly me, though even sometimes if I have a small cut I get super nauseous. I don't even have to be thinking about the fact that I'm bleeding. One time I started getting super lightheaded while cleaning out a bleeding cut of mine and it took a couple minutes before I realized what the cause was. It's some sort of subconscious thing that I have no conscious control over.

One time when I got a fingerprick at the doctor's office I nearly passed out. I went blind and deaf for like five minutes and I threw up like five times before I could see and hear again.

No, I've never had a problem with it. I had to get blood drawn when I was like 10 and I was perfectly fine with it

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be one of those husbands that faints at the hospital when they see their child come out of the womb.

I don't have a fear of blood BUT I have fear of having my blood drawn. I would never allow it, I just can't, and it's not the fear of the needle, because that doesn't happen if I'm sick and I need an injection.

I once rejected a great job in a bank because they needed to draw some blood. I argued that I didn't need blood to sign papers, like I won't be signing convenants with the devil. No ma'am, I have a "blood-drawing phobia".
