Post 1993 allegations he had a 2-disc album sell 22 million copies, his highest attended tour and the best selling remix album ever.
Post 2005 trial he was able to sell >1 million tickets in the UK alone just by announcing shows.
The whole thing did start a chain of events that ultimately cost him his life though, if not his career at large.
