Jeff Garlin disses Selena & Ariana being Sexualized!
Quote:
Jeff Garlin worked with Selena Gomez for three years on “Wizards of Waverly Place,” and he’s NOT quite ready to see the now-adult actress in sexy roles.
Garlin spoke out against the “sexualization” of young women like Gomez and Ariana Grande
He explains, “I love [Gomez], and she is, at least in terms of what I saw, a great kid. But then I see her sexualized… When I see her sexualized, I look at her, and I look at this Ariana Grande… both beautiful girls, but they have baby fat! They look like kids!”
“I see those chubby cheeks, she’s a kid!” says Garlin. “This is disgusting, that it’s happening so young.”
In terms of Gomez, Garlin says, “When she’s 30… she’ll be ridiculous.”
I agree. Is extremely uncomfortable to see then push sexually charged images while still looking like kids.
Select at least can pull it off when she's using dark make up as it helps toning down her baby fat, but with Ariana is always straight up child ****.
Why grown ass men think they could say girls how to dress? what does he want that they keep dressing as childrem when they are in their 20s, and neither Selena or Ariana are doing things like Miley and even if they did it there's nothing wrong with it, Jake T austin is being sexualized too but you don't see him talking about him like this.
The thing is that they are not "kids", no matter how young they may look. Period. That argument was valid when Britney was 17 and doing the RS cover, but both Selena and Ariana are adults in a number of senses of the word and it really just sounds like an older man being a bit of a stuffy old man about sexuality in this situation.
They are not children and have not been for years Yes they both have very youthful apperances but they will eventually look older and they are grown women now, they can wear and do whatever they want.
Wow, I'm so thankful that this white man stands up for women and mansplains how women are being sexualized and treated like objects! Thank you, white man, for your contribution to society. If only a woman had ever said the same thing. You're so smart, white man.
