Governments try to limit concerts at 100 dB by law. Still loud enough to get hearing loss, but not loud enough to really make you feel pain.

It depends on how loud it is and whether I can still hear the vocals/music good enough through it. I took my earplugs out for Katy and Tarja Turunen. It is not necessary with my current ear plugs, it has a low absorption filter too.

There are ear plugs for music and changeable filters to adjust it to the loudness of the concert.
