Not sure what theyve based these predictions on. If you look at their last album sales these seem way off for some.

So 500k for both is wildly optimistic
Kanye did 328k last time so 300k makes some sense. But I think he's lost a lot of fans since then. One direction have peaked and are on that downward slope. 400k will be great at this point. Boybands have a shelf life.

I don't know why people on here are acting like this is impossible? if red opened with 1.2M only 2 years ago then she could easily sell around the million mark.
It's difficult now since the whole "going pop" argument holds a little more weight. I believe Never got some country airplay promo. SIO is almost nonexistent or maybe totally is from the format. I haven't checked since week one.
Unless she drops a ballad as next single that could cross easy to her original core she won't do 1 million.
700k+ seems more reasonable. And she'll be a hot Holiday item and go multi plat so no loss.
Hasn't she done it twice already? I don't see how it's so crazy that she would do it alone. It's not like her current lead single is any smaller than her last 2.
