Gaga did not take a side nor does she have to. Her statements are about media portrayal of the place, her personal experience there, and her fans. There will always be people nitpicking every word Gaga says trying to make a mountain out of a molehill, and there is nothing here to see.

If any of you were educated on the topic it would be fantastic. The issue between Israel and Gaza is an atrocity but there is NOTHING israel can do. Palestine continues to stash their weaponry/rockets in hospitals, homes, and schools. So when they attack israel (which they did first), Israel attacks back and has to destroy their weapon stashes which they are PURPOSELY hiding in helpless citizen's homes. I dont care HOW "SAFE" Israel is, if they are being attacked in any way they have every right to defend themselves. And the deaths of the innocent lives in palestine are horrible but that is not israel's fault, that is Palestine's faut. They are being run by a terrorist organization so what else is new.

and gaga could never visit a country like Palestine, Sauidi Arabia, etc since all the gays there are stoned. They'd have a mass murder of them all. Like come on.

and before i hear the "they stole land argument" ill say this, they were given it after the holocaust after yeah 6 million jews were murdred and even if they did 'steal land' which they didnt, throwing rockets into israel is no way to get it back, ESPECIALLY When Israel has enough military power to wipe out any country they want.

Her celebrity status makes her view of Israel very limited though.
